Welcome to Just Be Yoga.

If you have found this site then you are that one step closer to discovering a whole new world of self discovery and physical improvement through the power of Yoga.

My personal discovery of Yoga came in 2010; I felt the calling of Yoga after a period of personal and financial change and challenge.  Little did I know or understand how Yoga was to shape and develop my life over the coming years.

After committing to Yoga in the physical sense in the early stages of my practice I gradually became more in tune with my body and what it required.  By deepening my physical practice of Yoga I felt that a communication channel between my mind and my body, that had yet to even be acknowledged, had been discovered through regular practice.

As my practice progressed I found myself becoming increasingly fascinated by the spiritual aspects of Yoga and its ancient roots.  For me, this led to the discovery of Ajurveda, Vedic texts, the Bhagavad Gita, Hindu and Buddhist teachings, the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and travelling to India to experience the historic ‘home’ of Yoga.

By immersing myself in both the physical aspects of Yoga through Asana and the spirtual teachings and texts, I found myself embracing the ethical rules and guidance of the Yoga Sutras.

After a number of years of Yoga practice I made the decision to go further and deeper into my practice and studies to gain a clearer insight on all aspects of Yoga.  I felt that I wished to share the joys of Yoga with others and by completing my 200hr Yoga Teaching Training I now have the ability and opportunity to introduce people to the power of Yoga and deepen a Yogi / Yogini’s practice.

My style of teaching is tailored to the needs and requests of each individual that I provide one to one teaching to.  Together we will discuss what you wish to gain from your exploration into Yoga and your practice, this could be purely physical or a mix between physical and mental development.
